Michele Grossman – GRI, LEED AP, Senior Sustainability Consultant

Michele has over 15 years of experience in the environmental field and she helps customers obtain their sustainability objectives, concentrating on the triple bottom line while ensuring brand and quality is not compromised. Recent projects incorporated solar power, composting food waste, and a greywater pilot project. Other projects includes managing sustainable events from annual conferences with 3,000 attendees to PGA tournaments with half a million fans; building out Green Model Programs with WM’s Education sub-sector; Sustainability Solutions Opportunity Assessments; and carbon footprinting for proposals and reports. Michelle is certified by the Global Resources Initiative and is a LEED Accredited Professional with degrees in Environmental Science and Communications. She is on the board of the Air and Waste Management Association and a member of San Francisco’s Business Community on Climate Change.
